Positano is a better-than-average Italian grill whose kitchen happens to be open until 10:30 Mon-Thu, 11 PM Fri-Sat, and 9:30 PM on Sundays (the dining room closes half an hour later).
Located just on the Ewing side of the Ewing / Trenton border, in a newly built strip mall, the grill has an extensive menu with nicely prepared Italian entrees as well as pasta, pizza, salads, pannini, subs, and cheese steaks.

They do a “Brooklyn Style” pizza that’s really quite good, with square crust, fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce. In this land of “Tomato Pie”, I feel sacrilegious to be recommending a “Brooklyn” pizza, but Positano’s is open at least two hours later than my favorite joint, Papa’s.

Positano’s one of the best places in the area to pick up a late meal, any day of the week. Bring your own bottle.
