  1. We had the Fish Nubian casserole (enough for 2), Fried Whiting (fried to perfection and seasoned very well), with a side of Mac & Ch (little dry) and for dessert Candied Yams (WoW, YUM). The food was cooked fresh so the wait was worth it and the price reasonable. Will definitely come back for dinner and try their breakfast menu.

  2. Great food. I can see why they claim the best soul food in Mercer County. I had the double burger (be warned, this means TWO burgers, not two patties on one burger) and it was good. The Trenton Eat Local club showed up with 19 people and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

It’s a city, so you might have to walk a block from where you park.

  3. I remember Speckle Reds on Perry Street. My stepfather took me there all the time. I’ll never forget the taste of those pancakes and thick cut bacon with syrup and butter.
