If you have a serious framing issue you need resolved, your best bet is to bring your artwork to Artifacts, and have Marge and Bob take care of you.
Marge is an artist. She’ll find a subtly colored matte that will perfectly complement your piece, and select the frame that is exactly right (often based on a color or design choice you wouldn’t have come up with yourself in a million years).
Bob is a craftsman. He’ll build the frame, and you can be sure it will not fall apart. Period.
Don’t expect this level of artistry and craftsmanship to come cheaply. It doesn’t, but their prices are fair for the level of service and quality they provide. You can find cheaper elsewhere, but you won’t find better.

We’ve been going to Marge and Bob for all of our framing needs for almost 25 years and we would not go anywhere else. Their marvelous work is well worth the price and they have an incomparable eye for marrying just the right matte and frame to set off your artwork. And they have a fabulous gallery of artwork, ceramics, and other objects, especially Trenton memorabilia. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
And–take note–not only Trentonians frequent this wonderful shop! People from as far away as–gasp–Ohio have been known to carry away treasures from their cache! On more than one occasion!

Agree completely with the assessment about Marge’s design abilities. She has an incredible eye, and is very senstive when dealing with customers. We have been using her exclusively for about 15 years for our vintage prints, photos and artwork. She is good at matching the artwork to the frame and mat that will set it off without overpowering it.
This is the best place to go for the best service ever!! Marge does the best framing work! It is a wonderful store filled with antique treasures!
