The Trenton Transit Center, newly renovated in 2008 or so, is an extraordinary resource we Trentonians often take for granted. It’s the only place in the world where you can catch a commuter train direct to either NYC or Philly from the same station. Not to mention AMTRAK’s NE Corridor Regional Service that will take you to Boston, Baltimore, and Washington.

NJTransit’s service runs frequently, nearly all night, and express trains take only a little more than an hour. SEPTA isn’t quite so comprehensive, but it’s a useful service. You can also get trains to both Newark Liberty Airport and to Philadelphia International airport, saving you a bundle on parking (if you’re going away for a while).
