OK, so it’s not exactly hidden, what with Six Flags being a major player in the “Location Entertainment” business. But it’s only about half an hour from Trenton. And what a lot of folks don’t know is they have a great “season pass” deal. While the discounting and packaging of both the season pass and single admissions make exact comparisons difficult, the season pass probably costs less than 2 single admission..
When my son was the right age, we splurged on the pass one year. What was so cool was that we could hop in the car, and head to the park at odd hours…say 7:30 PM on a Wednesday night in the summer. There’s no line at that time in the middle of the week. So we could hit 4 or 5 rides in an hour or so – ANY RIDE — and be home before 10 PM. It was great!
A hidden advantage is not only can you go at times when the lines are short, but also you don’t feel compelled to stay too long on any one outing… you can always come back the next day or the next week. Definitely the way to go.
