This is 33’x65′ mural created by local artist Illia Barger is on the side of 23 South Warren Street. It depicts the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence at this location on July 8, 1776, on the courthouse steps (the building is long since torn down).  See detail below.

Warren St Mural

Located on Warren Street a revival area of downtown Trenton. Go there to check out Classic’s Bookstore, the Big Easy or the Hummingbird, or to have a wonderful Italian dinner around the corner at Settimo Cielo. And while you’re there, it’s worth checking out the “revolutionary art” on Warren.
