Bicycle Ride from Stockton to Llama Farm
(Route Map) (Turn by Turn Directions) Best ridden on weekends, so you can visit the Llama Farm between 10 AM and 4 PM
This is a lovely ride through rolling countryside in and around Stockton and Lambertville. The Route passes within a 100 yards of the Woods Edge Wools Farm (Leapin’ Llamas), which is reviewed separately and marked on the map with a camera icon. This can be readily ridden on a road bike or a hybrid. There is a nearly 3 mile segment on the D&R Canal Towpath, which is hard-packed gravel, which might cause some riders to prefer a hybrid.

The Llama farm aside, a key advantage of this ride is that it’s only moderately hilly, and under 20 miles, which makes it appropriate for older children and novice adult cyclists. The ride begins and ends in the Prallsville Mill parking lot, just north of Stockton off of Rt. 29. Don’t misunderstand, it’s not a flat ride. There are hills, just none which a reasonably fit person would find killer.
