Cafe Antonio produces an enjoyable tomato pie using some of the best ingredients of any tomato pie restaurant in the area. In particular, the mozzarella is yummy, and the crushed tomato is absolutely superb. To match those stellar toppings, the crust could have been crispier, and its flavor a more fully developed (we thought the crust underdone). We also would have preferred a little less cheese (notwithstanding its high quality). The restaurant itself is a perfectly comfortable place to eat a pie (though it’s only served on the pizzeria side of the house, not in the “fine dining” area). Service is fairly minimalist: you order at the counter and get your own drinks. A waitress brings the pie to your table. Recommendation: order your pie “well done.”
