Palermo’s is a pleasant bar that makes a very good tomato pie. You can eat it in the bar, or in the large dining room that reminds us of a 1980s rec-room. We had a personal size pie: delicious crust that gets quite soggy in the center, expecially below the fresh mushrooms. Good quality cheese; excellent, subtly-sweet tomato. Fair service. If you’re looking for a beer in addition to a pie, it’s one of the best places in the area.
